What Is Adult Foster Care?
Adult Foster Care (AFC) is a program to help caregivers who care for the elderly adults and adults with disabilities who cannot live alone safely.
It is also a MassHealth funded program that provides in-house support to qualified individuals.
In the AFC program, individuals, known as “AFC members”, reside with trained and compensated caregivers who offer round the clock assistance and care. These caregivers open their homes to provide a family-like living environment for AFC members, as opposed to the traditional settings of nursing homes or other residential facilities.
By Choosing Bekem Community Care(BCC), You can expect the following benefits; for members and their families
- There is no fees to members or families. It is granted because it is covered by certain health plans and programs.
- Each member receives a care plan that is tailored to their personal requirements.
- Members are regularly supervised and assessed by healthcare specialists.
- Providing an appropriate and comfortable atmosphere for members.
- BCC provides extensive training and continuing assistance for caregivers.
- Caregivers are compensated with monthly stipends for their dedication and hard work, offering financial support for their invaluable services.
- BCC oversees the health and wellness of its members, ensuring that all aspects are thoroughly examined as necessary.
